EKI Welcomes Jenn Hyman as Vice President and Director of Engineering

EKI Environment & Water, Inc. has hired Jenn Hyman, P.E., LEED AP, to assume leadership of its water engineering practice as Steve Tarantino transitions towards retirement. Jenn will provide expertise and oversight in water infrastructure and restoration based on over 24 years of her engineering experience in water resource planning, design, project management, and construction management.

Jenn’s specialties and expertise in water infrastructure planning and design, habitat restoration planning and design, and construction management are a great addition to EKI’s water engineering practice. She has worked on several restoration projects which include the restoration of Napa River salt marshes, San Francisco Bay subtidal eelgrass beds, and creeks with steelhead. She has also managed or designed numerous water infrastructure projects including the seismic retrofit of a 1-million-gallon concrete water storage tank, over 20 miles of transmission mains for a desalination project, and design and construction of a 15-million-gallon per day water pump station.

Before joining EKI, Jenn has worked both for public water agencies as well as engineering consulting firms. Her diverse experience affords her with strong communication and management skills as well as the ability to holistically view and solve complex problems.
