If you are interested in improving the environment and advancing your career, then EKI is the place for you. We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic mid-level Project Assistant. Under the direction of the Administrative Manager, this position supports aspects of project and administrative support activities. This position is a resource for all EKI employees regardless of location.

Your responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Produce complex documents requiring substantial word processing, compilation, reproduction, and distribution. This includes correspondence, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, presentations, invoices, and memos according to company/client guidelines.
  • Prepare spreadsheets to track progress and tasks for project-related activities.
  • Provide support to project teams by assisting Project Managers with project set up, proposals, contracts, and project-related coordination tasks.
  • Assist Project Managers to track project status and costs.
  • Assist with production of client invoices, contracts, addendums, and documentation.
  • Proofread and edit outgoing documents.
  • Expand and maintain the EKI document style guide.
  • Review/improve/expand templates and provide guidance to new and existing employees.
  • Provide guidance and training to technical staff and administrative to facilitate efficient preparation and production of documents.
  • Provide guidance, examples, and training sessions for PowerPoint.
  • Manage project folders and develop and implement protocol for protecting final deliverable files.
  • Coordinate tasks with internal working groups, clients, and vendors.
  • Train administrative staff to provide project assistance.
  • Support IT and Marketing teams to maintain CRM and Intranet.
  • Provide timely and knowledgeable responses to requests.
  • Provide assistance to all EKI offices and staff as needed.

 The successful candidate should have the following background:

  • Minimum of five years of project assistant work experience.
  • Experience and ease of working with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office 365, specifically including strong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Confidence in learning and using new platforms and software as needed.
  • Skilled in the use of the Internet as a research tool.
  • Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Timely response to written communication and ability to juggle multiple channels of communication.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, reliable, and pays attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to see what needs to be done and take initiative.

The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
