Water Resources Services
At EKI, we bring together decades of technical, engineering, and regulatory expertise to help communities plan, protect, and optimize their water resources. Our multidisciplinary team delivers end-to-end One Water solutions ranging from decision support and strategic planning to regulatory compliance, detailed design, and implementation.
We develop resilient, data-driven strategies that balance water supply reliability, ecosystem health, and long-term sustainability. Our work spans integrated water resource planning, recycled and alternative water supplies, stormwater and watershed management, and adaptive strategies that evolve with changing climate and regulatory conditions.
EKI is an industry leader in groundwater management. Our hydrogeologists and modelers use advanced analytics to characterize basins, assess recharge and storage potential, and evaluate groundwater-surface water interactions. We support clients from basin-scale planning through project design and implementation, including Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) compliance, well design and construction support, aquifer testing, and long-term basin sustainability.
We tailor our services to the unique needs of our clients that span a broad range, including publicly owned utilities; special districts; municipalities; regional, state, and federal agencies; investor-owned utilities; and joint power authorities (JPA); and private organizations. The following represents a sample of our water resources expertise:
