Ms. De Jesus has over ten years of experience conducting subsurface investigations of soil and groundwater contamination resulting from various chemicals including chlorinated solvents, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), petroleum hydrocarbons, agricultural pesticides, metals, and leaking underground storage tanks containing fuels. She also performs construction observation services and contractor coordination for remediation projects and is trained in construction industry safety.
Ms. De Jesus is experienced with various methods of soil and groundwater characterization, including hollow-stem auger and direct-push drilling, vapor and groundwater well installation, and in-situ environmental investigation techniques such as cone penetration testing (CPT). Ms. De Jesus is also experienced with various methods of sample collection, including soil sampling, soil vapor sampling, grab groundwater sampling, and purging and sampling of monitoring wells. She is experienced in soil boring logging techniques and multi-increment soil sampling techniques.
