Mr. Hoffey has over three decades of environmental consulting experience in conducting environmental assessments. At EKI, Mr. Hoffey heads up the Property Transaction Environmental Due Diligence division, and is principal quality control reviewer of Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports.
Mr. Hoffey has performed, written, managed, and reviewed hundreds of Phase I ESA reports for a variety of land uses from large open space properties to heavy industrial and manufacturing sites. Mr. Hoffey’s clients have varied from non-profit land trusts, to residential and commercial developers, to community redevelopment agencies, to large multi-national high technology firms. Mr. Hoffey frequently provides Phase I ESA training workshops and has given many seminars to community groups and other professionals on Phase I ESAs, the ASTM E1527 Phase I guidance, and environmental due diligence in property transactions. Mr. Hoffey is an Environmental Professional as defined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (U.S. EPA) All Appropriate Inquires (AAI) Rule (Part 312.10).
