Mr. Steiger is a registered professional civil engineer with consulting and in-house corporate experience directing and executing a wide range of complex water, wastewater, and environmental remediation and compliance projects. He specializes in remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial actions; industrial process wastewater management and permitting; environmental regulatory compliance audits at industrial facilities; CEQA environmental review; transactional due diligence; vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation; and working with regulatory agencies to resolve environmental-related matters. His work and academic training have also included vadose zone hydrogeology, fate and mobility of salinity and nutrients in soil and groundwater, and aqueous geochemistry. Mr. Steiger led Apple Inc.’s global environmental due diligence and data center water and wastewater compliance programs, responsible for the overall direction and execution of all aspects of the programs. His leadership facilitated Apple’s rapid data center and real estate portfolio growth while cost-effectively reducing environmental footprints and minimizing corporate environmental liabilities. Having worked in both consulting and in-house corporate settings, Mr. Steiger is uniquely skilled at understanding and meeting the needs of his clients.
