Ms. Olmos has over fifteen years of professional experience in the water sector in environmental engineering, research development and administration, start-up tech, and leadership. She has nearly ten years building applied research programs; developing and managing projects and teams; and acquiring grants and contracts for research projects – within the space of water resources, water and energy efficiency, and climate resilience. She excels at partnership development and client relations, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to advance projects. She synthesizes emerging opportunities and diverse stakeholder needs into successful public and private grant projects.

Ms. Olmos has expertise in water efficiency, water-energy nexus, water resources planning, decarbonization, onsite water and wastewater treatment and reuse, and stormwater. Her work includes developing projects and grants, leading the strategy and teams in evaluating water conservation programs, providing support and strategy for compliance of water efficiency regulations. In her academic work she directed programs aimed to highlight the current challenges of the California water sector (urban, rural, agricultural, etc.) and advance innovative methods for meeting changing regulations, advancing water efficiency, impacting policy development and measurement and verification methods, strategies and technologies for dual resource efficiency.
