EKI’s clients include developers, public agencies, municipalities, private landowners, dry cleaners, commercial organizations, and industrial organizations.

EKI provides construction management services on environmental projects such as:

• Demolition;
• Excavation of contaminated soil and sediments;
• Construction of site caps;
• Surface water treatment;
• Soil vapor extraction and treatment;
• Groundwater extraction and treatment;
• Air‑sparging;
• Vapor intrusion mitigation;
• In-situ bioremediation;
• In-situ thermal treatment;
• In‑situ chemical oxidation; and
• Landfill containment and gas collection.

EKI performs the following types of work on behalf of our clients:

• Prepare contract documents, including technical plans and specifications;
• Prepare an engineer’s opinion of probable costs;
• Solicit and evaluate competitive bids for both public and private projects;
• Track project schedule and budget;
• Review and respond to contractor requests for information, submittals, and invoices;
• Oversee and document remedial construction progress;
• Oversee monitoring and reporting of ongoing treatment activities;
• Prepare completion reports; and
• Manage contracts as a representative for our clients.

EKI often coordinates with and/or manages the services of other design professionals on behalf of our clients, positioning us to effectively support their needs on quick-turnaround projects.
