EKI has been actively testing our secure, enterprise AI-powered tools to enhance Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), aiming to provide more time for data analysis and interpretation by minimizing manual tasks.
Here’s how:
EDR Radius Map Report Analysis:
Quick filtering of data by relevance, proximity, and groundwater gradient, extracting key information such as contaminants of concern and case status with citations for quality control.
Geotracker Site History Automation:
Combining optical character recognition (OCR) with AI-assisted summarization transforms numerous PDFs into searchable site histories, allowing more time to focus on risk assessment and data gaps.
Chemical Inventory Screening:
New tools cross-reference chemicals, products, and CAS numbers against compound lists to identify contaminants, precursors, and degradation products that might otherwise be overlooked.
Our clients are making decisions about risk, liability, and investments and those decisions depend on the quality of our work and our judgment. We continue to test AI-powered tools, within secure environments and with the highest levels of data security and encryption, to improve both the quality of our work product and outcomes for our clients. This reflects what has always defined EKI: technical rigor paired with practical decision-focused results.
