| Group Manager - Water Resources and Groundwater Salt Management | |

| Our firm has opportunities for an experienced Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Hydrogeologist as group manager for EKI’s Water Resources – Salt Management Group in the San Francisco Bay area or the Sacramento area. Duties: • Management of a market sector group, • Management and technical evaluation of groundwater and water supply systems including consideration of salts, nutrients, and other chemicals of concern, • Interaction with regulatory agencies, water agencies, and clients, and • Performance of hydrogeologic and water resources evaluations. Qualifications: Requirements include: • Advanced degree in hydrogeology, geology, water resources engineering, civil engineering or environmental engineering (Ph.D. preferred), and • Professional credentials such as PE, PG, or C.Hg. in California. Demonstrated experience in the following areas is desired: • Management of a market sector group at a professional consulting firm, • Technical evaluation of groundwater and water supply systems including consideration of salts, nutrients, and other chemicals of concern, • Familiarity with environmental regulations related to water resources, water supply assessments, and related issues facing the water industry in California, • Acquisition of projects and successful client relations, • Technical and project management skills, including hydrogeologic and water resources evaluations, • Oversight of subcontractors and subconsultants, and • Communication with regulatory agencies, water agencies, and clients. |
